Cream + Sugar is a coffeehouse located in Evanston, OH, a neighborhood of Cincinnati. The artwork done by local artists create a welcoming and cozy atmosphere, great for catching up with a friend or reading a book. The employees are extremely nice and go out of their way to make sure that you are satisfied with your coffee and overall experience!
Cream + Sugar is a coffeehouse for everyone, both coffee drinkers and non-coffee drinkers, and has a variety of food options as well. Their coffee is strong and is sure to jumpstart anyone up for the day!
Bean and Barley is a great spot for anyone to gather in large or small groups. Not only is there space to hang out around the coffee bar, but there's also room in the lower level and outdoor patio! Bean and Barley is perfect for board game lovers, as they have several games for customers to play while they are drinking their coffee.
Like many Cincinnati coffee shops, Bean and Barley serves Deeper Roots coffee. Deeper Roots is perfect for the coffee drinker that prefers acidic and bold flavors in their drip coffees and espresso drinks. If you're someone who likes their coffee to be smoother and not as harsh, definitely try a cappuccino or latte so the milk and foam balances it out.
Birdies has one of my favorite atmosphere's in all of Cincinnati. The green, the plants, the white, the couches, all fantastic! There is always people either doing homework and catching up, it's a very versatile place to be. One of my favorite places, and ranks high on the cuteness scale for me.
Birdies coffee isn't the smoothest but also isn't the most acidic either! This is definitely a very neutral choice. Sometimes, the lattes and flavored drinks can seem too diluted with milk and the syrup. This is why I recommend a plain black coffee or a black americano so that you're able to thoroughly taste the different flavors and notes of the coffee!
Norwood Coffee has a very rustic modern feel with sage, wood accents, and black and white. It was pretty quiet when I went, but that could be because I went later in the day, when all coffee shops will be naturally quiet. The employees were extremely nice, and even gave me a free donut! Norwood Coffee is only open on weekends, so that's something to definitely keep in mind when you plan a visit.

Lily's Choice: Hot Salted Caramel Latte
Norwood Coffee had extremely yummy coffee! The best way I can describe their coffee is that it tasted like a little treat. But, my usual complaint would be that these would be too sweet- but this was the perfect combination of strong coffee and sweet syrup. I'd definitely recommend, especially since Norwood Coffee is a "pay what you'd like coffee shop!"
