In my opinion, Lake Effect might be the cutest coffee shop in all of Milwaukee. The rustic modern vibe with lots of natural light is very refreshing, especially with the many plants around the shop!

I love coffee that has a hint of sweetness to it, even when the coffee is black. This is exactly what Lake Effect has in their coffee blends. It makes it feel like the coffee is smoother and you're able to taste the underlying flavors of the coffee itself. I LOVE Lake Effect, and it's one of my favorite places in Milwaukee!

This is a really cute, just pop in type of coffee shop! There isn't much seating, and it is definitely just a stop in and grab a coffee, and get going with your day. You can sit inside, but it's not as cozy of an environment that you might look for in a shop that you'd want to get work done or catch up with a friend in.

Similar to many other places in Milwaukee, The Bread Pedalers serves Anodyne Coffee. Anodyne is great for lattes, since the bitterness and acidity can be offset by the smooth milk and possible flavoring. However, the bakery is fantastic! It's probably obvious per the name, but the bread is great too!
