Pilcrow Coffee has a very industrial vibe to it. There's lots of white and can seem a bit rigid. However, this just makes Pilcrow a great place to plug in and get some studying done, since there isn't lots of comfy seating in to sit and chat with friends.

Stone Creek has an extremely homey and cozy atmosphere across the board, for any location that you visit. However, it depends on the location on whether or not the cafe is a more of a working environment coffee shop or more social. I recommend the Wauwatosa location if you're wanting to get some studying in, but the Factory Cafe downtown

Stone Creek Coffee is strong, and I recommend going for their dark roast or espresso roast, because their lighter roasts tend to be extremely bitter. Stone Creek is a great choice!

Valentine is usually pretty quiet, with either people working or engaging in small conversations. I love stopping in Valentine for a quick coffee break- and it's always pretty busy! Valentine is also very cozy and I love the comfy seating that always feels warm and welcoming.

Valentine Coffee is hands down, my favorite coffee in Milwaukee. Strong, smooth, and incredibly flavorful are words that I use to describe Valentine. I love how their coffee interacts with milk and syrup within their lattes, but I also love how strong the espresso tastes on its own. You can never go wrong with Valentine!
